Day Two

Our second day here has been so awesome. We started the day in devotions with our team. Then we had a meeting and training time for our VBS that starts tomorrow.

We then got to go to the amazing Mayan ruins! It was so awesome to see God's creation from such a beautiful view!

After dinner we got ready for the church service. Haley, Andrew, Patience and Naomi led the packed church in some great worship. Bob, Missy's dad, shared his testimony and sang an inspiring song about how we are never lost when we have God.

Jason closed out the night with a powerful message about God's grace and love. He challenged us to do three things in response to Gods love- walk in His light, confess our sins and struggles, and to love others.

The people of this church are beautiful. You can really sense God's love and presence here. Pastor Ron is still just as amazing at getting a church involved in worship as he was years ago as Missy's youth pastor.

We finally ended the evening with a team meeting with worship, prayer and reflection. Tomorrow we have our first day of VBS and we will be painting a woman's house named Desiree. We are so excited to be on this mission!!
